Kudos to Univision’s Cesar Medrano and Roland Davila producers of the Premios a la Musica for carving out a space in the show, at the most challenging of times, for the heartfelt presentation delivered by Emilio’s boys. There could have been no greater tribute of best wishes performed for Emilio than the melodic rendition of “Juntos” strummed out by his sons (along with Michael Morales).The mood, the ambiance and the idea that an artists’ music lives on, under this circumstance — was truly emotional. How proud he will be one day when it’s played back to Emilio.While Emilio fights on with his strong will, his sons fight on with their hope, love and his music. (standing ovation)VIVE Tejano
